Electronics Design And Simulation Skills For Project Training (SFP)

All our training courses are based on current industry requirements for respective fields, so that as a fresh graduate you can hit the groung running once you graduate. This training program is meant to augment what you are learning or what you have learnt in school.

This program is not a vocational training (where you learn some technical trade skills and become a technician), neither is it another electronics or computer school where we start teaching you things you already know, or things you don't need to know.. what a waste of time!!! This program is based on innovation!

  Computer Engineering/Computer Technology
If you are studying Computer Engineering , we would recommend any of the electronics courses combined with an IT course. The reason is that your final year project or any projects you might do in school is most likely to be electronics or hardware based (even if some software might be involved). Here are some courses you might want to consider:

  • Electronics & Computer Engineering (A+)
  • Electronics & Web Design
  • Electronics & Object Oriented Programming.

  • If you are already a graduate you can do any of the IT courses including any of the professional courses we run. The computer Engineering A+ course covers Laptop & PC repairs.

Elect/Elect, Systems Engineering or Physics Electronics
The right place to start is the certificate course in Electronics Design. This course covers all the basic Electronic Engineering Skills you need including Matlab & AutoCAD basics.

After doing the Certificate course, you can proceed to the diploma course where you'll do things like microcontrollers, electronics simulation, PCB production etc. The diploma course covers aspects of electronics design extensively.
      Mechanical/Production/Industrial Maintenance Engineering
For Mechanical engineering students and related fields, we recommend the AutoCAD , Mechanical Design & Mechatronics Course. This course covers Mechanical Engineering Design and Modelling with applications of dynamic similarity and dimensional analysis. You'll be taught advanced mechanical manufacturing processes like the use of the CNC machine and other CAM methods.

The course also covers full autoCAD and matlab applications.
The problem with learning autoCAD in a computer school is that you only learn how to use the autoCAD software package as a drafting tool. AutoCAD is an engineering design software and a computer scientist cannot teach you engineering design.

Our AutoCAD training is aimed to develop students ability to apply autoCAD to mechanical designs and production engineering rather than just see autoCAD as a drafting tool. The last bit of the training is Mechatronics, which covers aspects of electronics required for mechanical applications , so that if your mechanical design for instance requires an electronic control (stepper motor , Valve , Electronic-Timing , Wind turbine) , you are not handicaped.
